Business Refresh – Sector Focus
Led by our Leadership Team, with fantastic engagement from everyone in the room, the day began with a business refresh — reaffirming our commitment to delivering excellence across the UK within our key sectors including industrial & logistics, commercial, manufacturing, retail, fit-out, and infrastructure for both public and private sector clients.
A Year in Review - Achievements of Team Wilten
On the day, we celebrated several major achievements that are the result of one team working, with a shared commitment to Doing it Better. Key successes include:
Continued financial growth (£92m) profitability (4.8% pre-tax), and a strong forward order book at the start of the new financial year (£70m)
Strengthening our Commercial function and transforming procurement processes through ProcurePro
Excellent operational performance, including high client satisfaction, award-winning CCS results, and maintaining zero RIDDOR accidents/incidents
Advancing our technical and design standards across BREEAM V7, the Building Safety Act, preferred details, and CPD training
Continued development of the Wilten Care Programme, including ESG initiatives, with Planet Mark reductions and our biggest social value impact to date
Industry recognition through multiple award wins, including being named SME News’ Most Trusted Industrial & Commercial Contractor for three consecutive years
Commercial and Operations Structure Strengthened
To better align our Commercial and Operations functions, we have recently appointed Dave Ellis as Surveying Director, partnering with James Potts, Operations Manager. Together, Dave and James will lead delivery across the Midlands and North regions, while Sam Megeary, Surveying Director, and Isni Basha, Operations Manager, will oversee the South.
This structure strengthens our leadership team and supports our long-term growth by encouraging closer collaboration, stronger regional partnerships, and a more integrated approach to delivery across the UK.
Doing it Better, Together – Evidenced by Client Appreciation
Wilten is built on developing long-term, repeat relationships with our clients. This is reflected in the strength of our key client partnerships and supported by an average client satisfaction score of 9/10 as of May 2026. Key repeat business relationships include:

Gateway 14 Ltd / Jaynic – two schemes totalling £20m
Wilson Bowden / Rolls Royce – two schemes totalling £12m
Kingsbridge - three schemes totalling £30m

Here’s what some of our clients have said:

Outstanding HSEQ Performance and CCS Best Practice - Driven by our “One Team, One Wilten” culture

2025–2026 was another successful year for both Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) performance and our Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) results, with performance levels surpassing those of many Tier 1 contractors. These achievements are a direct result of our “One Team, One Wilten” approach, where collaboration, safe behaviours, and shared accountability are embedded across every project. By working together and maintaining a collective commitment to excellence, we continue to exceed client expectations and industry standards while delivering safer, higher-quality outcomes across the business.
Key achievements included:

Wellbeing in May

As part of our Wilten Care Programme and Mental Health Awareness Month, throughout May, we promoted a range of wellbeing initiatives designed to encourage healthier lifestyles and improve awareness of both physical and mental health.
25 winners were showcased at the Wilten Engagement Day for taking part in Wellbeing in May, which involved numerous challenges and activities.
Challenges included supporting employees to become smoke and vape free for two weeks, taking part in a 150,000-step challenge, and encouraging everyone to have their blood pressure checked.
Particular emphasis was placed on blood pressure awareness, recognising high blood pressure as a “silent killer” that often presents no symptoms but can lead to serious health conditions if left untreated. These initiatives aimed to encourage positive habits, early intervention, and a stronger focus on overall wellbeing across the business.
Looking Ahead, Together
As we look to the future, we are implementing a 12-month business improvement plan shaped directly by employee feedback. Our people continue to view Wilten positively, with strong confidence in our leadership, culture, and values — reinforcing the strength of the business we are building together.
What our employees told us:
“Great team, supportive colleagues, and positive culture”
“Appreciation for values, loyalty, and strong relationships”
“Desire for more training and career progression”
Building on this feedback, our focus is to protect and strengthen the culture that makes Wilten unique — centred on our “One Team” approach and core values — while continuing to enhance employee development, communication, onboarding, workload management, and the overall employee experience.
Over the next 12 months, our improvement plan will focus on four key themes:
Foundation and communication
Development and capability
Employee experience
Consolidation and measurement
The Wilten Vision 2030
Beyond these priorities, our Wilten Vision 2030 remains clear: to become both the Contractor of Choice and Employer of Choice. This ambition will be driven by sustainable growth, operational excellence, investment in our people, and creating a lasting positive impact for our clients, communities, and the wider industry — all aligned with our mission, vision, and values.
