Last week we officially broke ground at G Park, Swindon, marking the start of our latest project with valued repeat client, Graftongate.

The ceremony brought together representatives from Graftongate, Knight Webb, NFU Mutual, and Swindon Borough Council’s Inward Investment Team — providing a great opportunity to celebrate not only the beginning of construction, but also the strength of long-standing partnerships and the formation of new relationships across the wider project team.

A Milestone Moment on Site

As our third project with Graftongate in the last three years, G Park Swindon is another example of our shared commitment to delivering high-quality, future-ready industrial and logistics space.

Once complete, the development will provide an 80,920 sqft best-in-class industrial and logistics facility designed to meet modern occupier demands.

Key features include:

  • High-specification warehouse and CAT A office space

  • 12.5m clear internal height

  • 16 dock doors and 2 level access doors

Designed with Sustainability in Mind

Targeting BREEAM Very Good and EPC A, the scheme includes:

  • PV-ready infrastructure

  • EV charging

  • Natural daylighting

  • Sustainable transport and landscaping features

Works Underway

With earthworks, enabling works, and initial groundworks already well underway, the structure is scheduled to begin taking shape in August. It’s exciting to see the vision for G Park Swindon starting to become a reality.

Thank you to everyone involved so far — we look forward to sharing further progress as the project develops.

"We are delighted to see Wilten Construction and Graftongate break ground at G Park. This development is a fantastic vote of confidence in Swindon's economic strength and highlights just how attractive the borough remains for speculative industrial and logistics investments. Our fantastic connectivity and skilled workforce mean demand for premium, future-ready business space is incredibly high. By delivering a sustainable, high-specification facility like this, the project team is providing exactly what modern occupiers are looking for, helping us bring more high-quality jobs and investment into Swindon."
