Wilten Construction is pleased to announce our appointment by Watchmoor Park Camberley Propco Limited to deliver Phase 1 at Watchmoor Park — marking an exciting new partnership and a significant addition to our portfolio of sustainable industrial projects.
This 40‑week programme represents our first project with this client, and we look forward to building a strong and collaborative working relationship for this project and beyond. The project will be successfully delivered through a one team approach, partnering with Quartz, Michael Sparks Associates, and MJM Consulting Engineers who form the professional team.
Delivering a 109,849 Sqft Industrial & Logistics Facility
Phase 1 comprises the design and construction of a 109,849 sqft sustainable industrial and logistics building, which will be our largest single unit big box scheme to date.
The development has been designed to achieve:
A building that sits seamlessly within the landscape, providing visual connections into and between key spaces and supporting a sustainable, considered layout.
Extensive green infrastructure, helping to shape the landscape and public realm, encouraging interaction between people and nature, and creating green corridors and habitat zones.
Biodiversity enhancements across the site, delivered through targeted landscaping and ecological design features
Long‑term benefits for staff, residents, and visitors to Watchmoor Park
Built Around Sustainability and Local Value
Economic, social, and environmental enhancement measures are central to this scheme and embedded throughout the design and construction phases through the following.
Supporting Local People & Skills
A commitment to contributing to the economic and social wellbeing of the local community.
Opportunities for local employment and skills development, working with nearby residents, schools, and colleges.
Environmental Responsibility
Achieving BREEAM Excellent and EPC A
Reducing carbon emissions through a Low and Zero Carbon (LZC) technology mix including Roof Mounted PVs, and low embodied carbon materials such as raised access flooring
Achieving minimum U values for compliance with the Energy Statement/BRUKL document
Adopting sustainable site practices to minimise energy and fuel use, reduce waste, and support a circular economy
Sourcing local and sustainable materials wherever possible
Protecting wildlife in Watchmoor Park due to the proximity of the lake through ecological protection measures, visual checks, and workforce briefings
We look forward to working closely with the client and wider team to deliver a high‑performing, landscape‑led development that enhances the wider park and provides lasting value to the community.
Progress updates will be shared as Phase 1 moves forward.
