Wilten Construction was delighted to welcome The Lighthouse Charity to Watchmoor Park Phase 1 for a recent site visit and wellbeing stand down, bringing the project team together to raise awareness of the support available to those working within the construction industry.
The stand down provided an opportunity for employees, subcontractors and site personnel to learn more about the vital services offered by Lighthouse, who are dedicated to the emotional, physical and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families.
During the session, representatives from Lighthouse shared information on the range of support available, including free and confidential resources designed to help individuals facing personal or professional challenges. The visit formed part of Wilten's ongoing commitment to promoting positive mental health, wellbeing and a supportive working environment across its projects.
The event was enjoyed by the entire site team, with the sunny weather providing the perfect backdrop for the day. An ice cream van was also on site, giving everyone the chance to take a well-earned break while engaging with colleagues and the Lighthouse team.
Wilten would like to thank The Lighthouse Charity for taking the time to visit Watchmoor Park Phase 1 and for the invaluable work they continue to do in supporting the wellbeing of those across the construction sector.
Through initiatives such as these, Wilten remains committed to fostering a culture where wellbeing is prioritised and where individuals are encouraged to access the support available whenever they need it.
