At Wilten Construction, we are proud to reflect on another year of success to date in the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS). The scheme continues to provide an important benchmark for the standards we set on our sites – from safety and quality through to the way we respect local communities, the environment, and the people we work with.

Successful Night at the 2025 CCS Awards
This year, we achieved two Bronze Awards at the 2025 CCS National Site Awards for two of our projects at LeMieux, Hampshire, and Bridge, Croydon.
LeMieux, Hampshire – a 50,241 sqft Headquarters inclusive of Offices and a Warehouse Unit
Recognition was given to the team who maintained a carefully managed site with strong attention to detail and coordination. They maintained ongoing operations at LeMieux’s existing warehouse with zero disruption. High scores were awarded, demonstrating the team’s commitment to all aspects of the Code of Considerate Practice.
Isni Basha, Operations Manager, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have received the Bronze Medal at the 2025 Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards. This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire project team, who consistently delivered a safe, respectful, and sustainable site".

Bridge Industrial, Croydon – a 60,400 sqft Distribution and Logistics Facility
The project team stood out at the awards night for the significant community engagement and social value delivered for the local area, building excellent relationships with neighbours, supporting local initiatives, and promoting careers in construction through fairs and educational events.
These awards are a testament to the dedication of our people in going above and beyond in every aspect of project delivery.
Mario La Barbera, HSEQ Manager, said “Receiving the Bronze Medal at the 2025 Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards is a fantastic achievement and highlights our commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality on site. It demonstrates that our focus on safe working practices, sustainable construction, and community engagement is making a real impact. I’m proud of how our team embraced the Code of Considerate Practice and continuously strived to raise the bar for responsible construction throughout the delivery of the Croydon scheme.”
Consistently High Standards, Displaying Excellent and Outstanding Scores Across All Sites
Alongside national recognition, our 2025 CCS site inspections have been consistently strong. We achieved an average score of 43.6/50 (Excellent) – significantly above the industry average.
These flawless scores recognise that throughout construction, we have been a considerate neighbour and have upheld the high standards set by the Code of Considerate Practice, which requires respect for the community, care for the environment, and value of the workforce.
Additionally, three sites achieved Outstanding ratings; Ferne Park in Fareham, the Aeronautical and Technology Training Centre at Leicester College, and most recently, Unit 1/1A in Dunstable which achieved our highest score to date of 48/50!
To achieve these scores, the sites developed and implemented best practice initiatives across environmental sustainability, community relations, and workforce wellbeing. Specific examples include start the conversation cards, carbon reduction and climate change toolbox talk, and life VAC, all contributing to achieving additional Collaboration Scores and ultimately an overall Outstanding score.
These best practice initiatives have been shared across the industry via the CCS Best Practice Resource Hub – demonstrating our role in helping to raise standards across construction.
Standout Results in 2025
